Playmates<\/strong> was in charge of creating and distributing the collection of Toxic Crusaders<\/strong> in 1991. At that time, TMNT,<\/strong> was the hit of the moment and they made the decision (very wise in my opinion) to make the Toxic Crusader<\/strong> in the same scale, manner and with very similar designs. So many people consider them a Knock-off of the Turtles.<\/p>\n\n

The line of figures, like the series, was short, but as they say: “if it’s short, it’s twice as good”, so I think it was a great success on the part of Playmates.<\/p>\n\n
