Between 1984 and 1986, the Kenner toy company launched the Super Powers<\/strong> based on characters from the DC comics universe. The figures were particularly innovative for the time, as they featured “action-features<\/em>” when squeezing legs or arms.<\/p>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

Several vehicles were also released with these figures, as well as a Hall of Justice Playset. The toys were very popular and inspired future launches by other companies.<\/p>\n\n

In this checklist we review all the pieces and accessories that are part of the collection.<\/p>\n\n

Wave 1 (1984)<\/h2>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

The first year of the collection, KENNER decided to launch the most famous characters of the DC universe, with these 12 figures began a line of enjoyment of great popularity at the time. The toy company played it safe, and launched figures such as Batman or Superman in a scale in which they did not exist until then, taking advantage of the change of trend in the scale of the toys that KENNER itself had marked with the STAR WARS figures.<\/p>\n\n
