This figure is part of the “Spider Wars” sub-line within the “Spider-Man Animated Series” collection created by TOYBIZ toy company. This collection recreated the characters of the popular animated series of the 90’s Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
The figures were distributed and sold in several countries, so we will be able to find the “carded” figures with cardboards in different languages.
Doppelganger is an arachnid creature that appears in the 1990s Spider-Man animated series. This character is a monstrous, deformed version of Spider-Man, with six arms, sharp fangs and an almost animal-like demeanor. He was created during the events of “Infinity War” in the comics, but his appearance in the animated series presents him as a terrifying enemy without a conscience of his own, acting under the control of other villains.
Unlike Spider-Man, Doppelganger lacks morality or personality, functioning more as a pawn of the villains who manipulate him.
Although he has many of Spider-Man‘s abilities, such as superhuman strength and the ability to climb walls, his wild nature makes him an extremely dangerous and unpredictable adversary.
