This figure, like all those from "vol.1" to "vol.10," can be found with either the Western box or the Japanese box.
Japanese boxes are usually more expensive, as the figures sold in Japan had a much shorter run and are scarcer. Even though they are Japanese boxes, some are marked "Made in China" and others "Made in Japan."
Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma, a human-Saiyan hybrid with great power. He first appears in the series in the Cell saga, where he comes from the future to warn the heroes of the dangers approaching and, incidentally, to bring Goku medicine to prevent his death from heart disease.
Later, he is born in the present, and we see him as a child. So we can differentiate between two Trunks, the one from the future and the one from the present.
