To complement all the figures in the Star Wars collection, KENNER released several vehicles, ships, and playsets, although the scale wasn’t always accurate (for obvious reasons). These sets could easily accommodate several figures and were the perfect complement for recreating the world of the movies, providing a complete play experience for children of that era.
The first Star Wars movie was a total success and to accompany the 21 figures that were released between 1977-1979, 15 complements/pieces were created:
On the occasion of the second film of the saga, 17 new pieces were released:
Along with the last movie of the trilogy and its figures, several ships and playsets were released:
After the end of the trilogy, the line was orphaned of new audiovisual content, even so KENNER decided to release a last wave of figures and ships, just like the figures of this wave, the ships are somewhat more expensive than the rest due to the fact that fewer units were made.
