R2-D2 (Sensorscope): In 1982, KENNER released the fifth wave of figures from its Star Wars collection; this wave features figures based on characters from the movie *The Empire Strikes Back*.
This figure was reissued several times and released in different countries or as part of various promotions, so we can find it with different packaging, even though the figure itself is the same across all versions.
This is the second figure in the R2-D2 collection, to which an antenna (sensorscope) protruding from its head was added.
