Curiosities about the toy and variants

Paploo is a figure from the seventh wave of the Star Wars vintage collection, produced by the toy company KENNER in 1984; this wave featured figures of characters from the movie *Return of the Jedi*.

These figures were reissued and distributed in many countries, so we can find different packaging in different languages featuring the same figure.

Although this figure was technically released in 1984, it came out at the end of the year, and far fewer units were produced than for the rest of the line. For that reason, this figure is much more expensive than the others and is included in the famous “The Last 17” list.

Character

Paploo is an Ewok who makes his first appearance in the film *Return of the Jedi*. In the film, Paploo plays a prominent role in the Battle of Endor, where the Ewoks, including him, join the Rebel Alliance in their fight against the Galactic Empire.

Paploo is known for his bravery and adventurous spirit, and is particularly noted for stealing an Imperial speeder bike, which proves crucial to the Rebels’ victory in the battle.
