This figure is part of the first wave of the “Spider-Man Animated Series” collection, created by TOYBIZ toy company. This collection recreated the characters from the popular 90’s animated series Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
The figures were distributed and sold in several countries, so we will be able to find the “carded” figures with cardboards in different languages.
Carnage, whose real name is Cletus Kasady, is one of the most dangerous and bloodthirsty villains in the Marvel Universe, created by David Michelinie and Mark Bagley. He debuted in “The Amazing Spider-Man” #361 in 1992.
Carnage is the result of the union between an alien symbiote and Cletus Kasady, a psychopathic serial killer. This symbiote is a descendant of Venom, but much more chaotic and lethal, amplifying Kasady’s bloodlust.
Carnage possesses a similar set of abilities to Venom, such as superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to generate weapons with his own body, but is stronger and more unpredictable due to the nature of the symbiote and Kasady’s unbalanced mentality.
Unlike other villains, Carnage does not seek power or wealth; his only goal is to wreak havoc and destruction, making him a threat to both Spider-Man and Venom, who must often join forces to stop him.
