This figure is part of the collection“Bravestarr” produced by MATTEL in 1986, these figures are based on the characters of the animated series with the same name.
Bravestarr figures were noticeably larger than many other toy lines of the time, such as He-Man or G.I. Joe action figures, which made them stand out for their size. In addition, BraveStarr figures included multiple points of articulation and various accessories that complemented their futuristic, Old West-style features.
The collection was sold in different countries, so we can find boxes in different languages.
Tex Hex is the main antagonist of the BraveStarr series. He is a cunning and ruthless villain who was originally a human outlaw, but was transformed into a supernatural being by the dark villain Stampede.
After his transformation, Tex Hex acquired magical abilities and dark powers, which he uses to wreak havoc on the planet New Texas. His main objective is to seize the valuable mineral called kerium, which is the most powerful source of energy in the universe.
With his scruffy, pale-colored appearance, Tex Hex resembles a specter from the Old West. He often leads a group of bandits and evil creatures in their fight against Marshal Bravestarr, with whom he has an ongoing rivalry.
