This playset is part of the collection of figures“Bravestarr” produced by MATTEL in 1986, these figures are based on the characters of the animated series of the same name.
Fort Kerium is actually a pack containing the two previous playsets Bank & Jail and Command Center.
Bravestarr figures were noticeably larger than many other toy lines of the time, such as He-Man or G.I. Joe action figures, which made them stand out for their size. In addition, BraveStarr figures included multiple points of articulation and various accessories that complemented their futuristic, Old West-style features.
The collection was sold in different countries, so we can find boxes in different languages.
Fort Kerium is a fortified city in the BraveStarr series, located on the planet New Texas. It is the main settlement where colonists live and serves as the base of operations for Marshal BraveStarr.
The city is an important mining center, as the valuable mineral “Kerium” is mined there, making it a coveted location for villains, especially Tex Hex and his gang, who constantly try to plunder it.
BraveStarr and his team defend Fort Kerium from these attacks, protecting its inhabitants and maintaining peace on the planet.
