This figure corresponds to the first version of the first Megazord (Dino Megazord). Its scale is notably different from the rest of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Zords collection, being considerably smaller and with much less transformation options.
This would change with the release of Megazord Deluxe, which was the most successful and set the tone for the rest of the Zords.
This figure is not among the most sought after in the collection for these reasons, people generally prefer the Megazord Deluxe.
Zords are huge machines or mechanical creatures controlled by the Power Rangers, usually reflecting animals, mythical beasts, vehicles or large robots.
Each Ranger usually has a Zord that complements his or her costume and abilities. Zords can join together to form a Megazord, a powerful combination that gives Rangers great strength to face threats beyond single combat, such as giant monsters.
