The Ninja Action sub-line features turtle figures with a design that is more faithful to the style of the comics. In addition, they include a special function: by means of a spring mechanism, the figures perform a somersault that simulates a dynamic attack.
Originally, Ninja Action figures were marketed in cardboard boxes. Although there are no variants of the figures themselves, the boxes differ depending on the country of distribution.
A few years later, this figure was reissued in the Ninja Power edition, this time presented in a cardboard format with plastic bubble.
