This playset is part of the "Bravestarr" figure collection produced by MATTEL in 1986. These figures are based on characters from the animated series of the same name.
Fort Kerium is actually a pack containing the two previous playsets, Bank & Jail and Command Center.
The Bravestarr figures were significantly larger than many other toy lines of the time, such as the He-Man or G.I. Joe action figures, which made them stand out for their size. In addition, the BraveStarr figures included multiple points of articulation and various accessories that complemented their futuristic and Old West style features.

Fort Kerium is a fortified city in the BraveStarr series, located on the planet New Texas. It is the main settlement where the colonists live and serves as the base of operations for Marshal BraveStarr.
