This figure is part of the Dragon Ball GT series, the latest wave of the "Super Battle Collection." Today, Dragon Ball GT figures are slightly more expensive and harder to find than the first figures in the Dragon Ball Z collection, probably because the series was not as successful as its predecessor and fewer units were sold. There are no known variants of this figure. However, there are some fairly similar pirated copies.
Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma, a human-Saiyan hybrid with great power. He first appears in the series in the Cell saga, where he comes from the future to warn the heroes of the dangers ahead and, incidentally, bring Goku medicine to prevent his death from heart disease.
Later, he is born in the present, and we see him as a child. So we can differentiate between two Trunks, the one from the future and the one from the present.
