Curiosities about the toy and variants

This figure is part of the third wave of the "Spider-Man Animated Series" collection created by toy manufacturer TOYBIZ. This collection recreated the characters from the popular 1990s animated series Spider-Man: The Animated Series.

The figures were distributed and sold in several countries, so we can find "carded" figures with cards in different languages.

This figure stands out from the rest because it has many more joints than the other Spider-Man figures in the collection. It is easily distinguishable by its joints in the wrists, ankles, and torso.

Character

Spider-Man, whose real name is Peter Parker, is one of Marvel Comics' most popular and iconic superheroes, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. He first appeared in "Amazing Fantasy" #15 in 1962.

Peter Parker, an orphaned teenager raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, gains superhuman abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider. These abilities include increased strength and agility, the ability to climb walls, and a "spider sense" that warns him of danger.

Adopting the identity of Spider-Man, Peter decides to use his powers to fight crime after the tragic death of his uncle Ben, motivated by the lesson that "with great power comes great responsibility."
