This figure is part of the fifth wave of the vintage Masters of the Universe collection created by Mattel in 1986.
The Rattlor figure was produced in several countries and has an "Action Feature" where pressing a button on its back causes its neck to extend with a spring, simulating a bite attack.
There is a very famous variant of this figure, in one of the many editions of this figure produced in the Taiwan factory, the color of the neck was changed from yellow to red/maroon, matching the rest of the body.
Rattlor is a general and a very important member of the Serpentine army, considered the right-hand man of King Hiss himself. He is an intelligent and fearsome villain.
