This is the largest Zord in the collection. Its back can be opened to carry the Megazord.
There are no known variants of this figure, although there may be differences in the box design or slight variations in color tones, depending on the country of distribution.
A reissue of this figure was made a few years later, under the name The Return of Titanus. This reissue is practically identical to the first version, with the addition of a chain and little else.
Titanus serves as a "Carrier Zord" or support Zord, transporting and merging with other Zords to form more powerful combinations, such as the Ultrazord.
Titanus is key in battle when the Rangers face extremely powerful threats, acting as a base that enhances the strength and capabilities of the Megazord or Mega Dragonzord. Its design and role make it one of the most impressive and memorable Zords in the original series.
Zords are enormous machines or mechanical creatures controlled by the Power Rangers, which generally resemble animals, mythical beasts, vehicles, or large robots.
Each Ranger usually has a Zord that complements their suit and abilities. Zords can join together to form a Megazord, a powerful combination that gives the Rangers great strength to face threats that exceed individual combat, such as giant monsters.
