Curiosities about the toy and variants
Turbo Jab is a motorized version of Jab, featuring paintwork that mimics a race car and an "Action-Feature" similar to Moto Streex, with a wind-up mechanism that, when the figure is rolled backward and released, causes it to shoot forward.
Since it has no accessories, it is a fairly easy-to-find piece, and its price is among the lowest in the collection.
This piece was re-released as part of the Mega Heroes series, a wave distributed in 1996 where the packaging was changed from the cardboard box used up until then to the typical blister pack.
In my opinion, this was a mistake on MATTEL’s part, since the cardboard box was what set this toy line apart from others. So, while this figure can be found in two different types of packaging, the figure itself remains the same.
