The Kowabunga Crackin’ Turtle Egg sub line of the vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection is a rather curious and unique series of figures within the classic TMNT toy lines.
This sub-line, launched by PLAYMATES in the 1990s, was inspired by the idea of turtle eggs that opened to reveal the figures inside.
The egg is powered by a wind-up motor which, when rotated, activates and opens.
