He is created by the five elements of the Magic Rings that Gaia (the spirit of the earth) had invented. The elements used to create him are Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Heart. These rings are worn by five brave children known as the Planeteers: Kwame, Wheeler, Linka, Gi, and Ma-ti. By combining these five powers, they can summon Captain Planet, who helps them fight evil and pollution on the planet.
