The Kalibak figure is part of the second wave of figures in the Super Powers collection produced by toy manufacturer KENNER between 1984 and 1986.
This figure was distributed in several countries, so there are some differences in the blister packs. Some editions included a comic book or different offers such as the Clark Kent figure or Superman's cape.
Like the other figures in the collection, the Kalibak figure had an "Action Feature" whereby when you squeeze his legs, his arms rise.
Kalibak is a supervillain who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. He is the eldest son of Darkseid, half-brother of Orion and Grayven, and enemy of Superman and the Justice League.
Created by Jack Kirby, he debuted with the rest of the New Gods, first appearing in New Gods #1 (February 1971) in an era called the Silver Age of Comics. He is originally and repeatedly portrayed as the brutal son of Darkseid who commonly seeks his affection.
