IG-88 figure of the Star Wars collection (vintage) includes the following accessories:
IG-88 is part of the third wave of figures of the vintage Star Wars collection, produced by the toymaker KENNER in 1980. The reason for this wave of figures was the release that same year of the second movie of the saga “The Empire Strikes Back”.
This figure was released in different countries and reissued in future years, so we can find it with different cartons and/or small changes in the color.
IG-88 is a droid bounty hunter. He appears in “The Empire Strikes Back” as one of the mercenaries brought together by Darth Vader to find Han Solo and Princess Leia. Its distinctive design, in the shape of a killer android, makes it memorable.
