This figure is part of the third wave of the “Spider-Man Animated Series” collection, created by toymaker TOYBIZ. This collection recreated the characters from the popular 90’s animated series Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
The figures were distributed and sold in several countries, so we will be able to find the “carded” figures with cardboards in different languages.
Green Goblin, whose real name is Norman Osborn, is one of the most iconic and dangerous villains in Spider-Man history. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, he made his first appearance in “The Amazing Spider-Man” #14 in 1964.
Norman Osborn is a billionaire businessman and scientist who, after experimenting with an enhancement serum, gains superhuman strength, agility and enhanced intellect, but also loses his sanity, transforming him into the ruthless Green Goblin.
As Green Goblin, Osborn becomes Spider-Man‘s archenemy, using his vast arsenal of advanced weapons, including his famous pumpkin bombs and flying glider, to terrorize New York City.
