This figure is part of the sixth wave of the “Spider-Man Animated Series” collection, created by toymaker TOYBIZ. This collection recreated the characters from the popular 90’s animated series Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
The figures were distributed and sold in several countries, so we will be able to find the “carded” figures with cardboards in different languages.
Tombstone, whose real name is Lonnie Thompson Lincoln, is a villain in the Marvel Universe and one of Spider-Man‘s recurring enemies. Created by Gerry Conway and Alex Saviuk, Tombstone made his first appearance in “The Spectacular Spider-Man” #139 in 1988.
Known for his imposing physique and extremely pale skin, which gives him an almost albino appearance, Tombstone is a ruthless criminal with superhuman strength and uncommon stamina.
Originally from Harlem, New York, Lonnie Lincoln grew up in a violent environment and soon became involved in criminal activities. Over the years, he becomes a contract killer and enforcer for various criminal bosses. His distinctive gruff voice and ruthless nature give him a feared reputation in the world of organized crime. Tombstone is known for his brutality and for being a formidable physical adversary for Spider-Man and other street heroes such as Daredevil and Punisher.
