This figure is part of the collection“Bravestarr” produced by MATTEL in 1986, these figures are based on the characters of the animated series with the same name.
Bravestarr figures were noticeably larger than many other toy lines of the time, such as He-Man or G.I. Joe action figures, which made them stand out for their size. In addition, BraveStarr figures included multiple points of articulation and various accessories that complemented their futuristic, Old West-style features.

Handle Bar is a supporting character in the BraveStarr series who plays a supporting role, but is beloved by fans. He is a big, burly alien with feline features, as well as being the owner and bartender of Fort Kerium, a saloon on the planet New Texas where the colonists and main characters often meet.
