The Coil Force sub-line, launched in 1996, consists of a mini-collection of four figures that depict the Turtles with a more muscular look.
Its most distinctive feature is a spring-loaded joint system, which allows a limb to be stretched and released, with the spring’s force causing it to snap back in a motion that simulates a punch.
This spring-action mechanism was inspired by Takara’s Ronin Warrior line of figures, also distributed in the Americas by Playmates.
The Coil Force figures are part of the latest waves released within the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vintage collection.
This figure comes in two versions, one with blue accessories and the other with lilac accessories.
