Checklist – Laser Beasts

The Laser Beasts figure line is a direct continuation of the Battle Beasts line, introducing a new system for displaying the element on each figure’s chest.

While the Battle Beasts used a heat-sensitive sticker that revealed the symbol when heat was applied, the Laser Beasts feature a transparent lens on their chest that, when light passes through it, reveals the symbol hidden inside.

The collection is much smaller than its predecessor, but the value of its pieces is generally considerably higher among collectors. The line consists of 36 figures, divided into three different sets of 12 figures each.

Lower 12:

This first wave of figures, also known as the Lower 12, is—despite the collection’s overall rarity—the most common in the line, as it was sold in Japan, Europe, and the United States.

Middle 12:

This second wave of Laser Beasts, also known as the Mid-12, is notable because, in some cases, the figures—in addition to including their weapon—were also sold in packs that included a shield and a mini-vehicle. These figures are also known as Shield Battler or Battle Charger.

High-end 12

This is the latest wave of Laser Beasts figures, also known as the High-end 12, available exclusively in Japan. They are undoubtedly the hardest and most expensive figures to find in the entire collection.
