Zarana: Zartan's Sister, from "G.I. Joe - G.I. Joe - 3.75"" collection, includes the following accessories:
Zarana (v1) is a vintage G.I. Joe action figure, first introduced in 1986 as part of the fifth series.
This collectible was available through 1987 and discontinued in 1988. An additional release for this figure occurred at an early G.I. Joe Convention, where existing Hasbro stock was repackaged with new accessories.
Several variations of the Zarana (v1) action figure exist, primarily distinguished by head sculpts. The initial production run featured a head with earrings, which is generally considered a rarer find for collectors. This was later revised to a version without earrings.
Aside from these head sculpt differences, the core body sculpt and standard accessories remained identical between these two main versions.
An intermediate variation also appeared, retaining the earrings but featuring distinct facial details and lighter red paint applications on the gloves, legs, and belt.
The specific G.I. Joe Convention release used the head sculpt without earrings and included unique accessories: a gray submachine gun and a black sword.
Due to international distribution, packaging designs and languages for G.I. Joe action figures vary by region.
Notably, an Indian release of Zarana in 1990 featured slightly altered color schemes for both the figure and its accessories.
