Zandar (v1) is a vintage G.I. Joe action figure initially released in 1986 as part of the fifth series.
This collectible figure remained available through 1987 and was subsequently discontinued in 1988.
There is a notable variation concerning Zandar's filecard artwork. Later iterations of the filecard exhibit character art where Zandar's hair covers less of the bandana, and certain elements of his face paint have been omitted compared to the initial artwork.
An international release of the Zandar action figure occurred in India in 1990. This specific version featured subtle differences in the figure's color scheme and distinctively colored accessories.
