This accessory is part of the "Bravestarr" figure collection produced by MATTEL in 1986. These figures are based on characters from the animated series of the same name.
The laser accessories are battery-operated and can "shoot" at each other and activate other accessories with laser functions via infrared light. Many of them come with a reflective target for practice shooting.
The Bravestarr figures were significantly larger than many other toy lines of the time, such as the He-Man or G.I. Joe action figures, which made them stand out for their size.
