This figure is part of the "Bravestarr" collection produced by MATTEL in 1986. These figures are based on characters from the animated series of the same name.
This figure is the same as the basic Tex Hex figure, with the addition of the Evil Laser Backpack accessory.
The laser accessories are battery-operated and can "shoot" at each other via infrared light and activate other accessories with laser functions. Many of them come with a reflective target for shooting practice.
The Bravestarr figures were significantly larger than many other toy lines of the time, such as the He-Man or G.I. Joe action figures, which made them stand out for their size. In addition, the BraveStarr figures included multiple points of articulation and various accessories that complemented their futuristic and Old West style features.
