Curiosities about the toy and variants

This figure is part of the third wave of the "Batman - The Animated Series" collection, produced by toy manufacturer KENNER during the 1990s.

This collection of figures is based on the characters from the animated series of the same name. It was distributed in several countries, and some figures were reissued, so it is not unusual to find some differences in the packaging.

Character

Poison Ivy, whose real name is Pamela Isley, is one of the most iconic villains and eco-terrorists in "Batman: The Animated Series." Before becoming Poison Ivy, Pamela Isley was a talented botanist and scientist specializing in plant toxins.

Her transformation into a villain occurs after a failed experiment or betrayal, depending on the version, which gives her immunity to all poisons and toxins, as well as the ability to control plants.

As Poison Ivy, Pamela adopts a radical mission to protect the environment at any cost, even if it means destroying humanity. She is able to manipulate plants to do her bidding and uses poisons and pheromones to control her victims.
