Curiosities about the toy and variants

The Green Arrow figure is part of the second wave of figures in the Super Powers collection produced by toy manufacturer KENNER between 1984 and 1986.

This figure was distributed in several countries, so there are some differences in the blister packs. Some editions included a comic book or different offers such as the Clark Kent figure or Superman's cape.

Like the other figures in the collection, the Green Arrow figure had an "Action Feature" whereby when you pressed his legs, his arms would rise as if he were raising his bow. The arrows could be placed either on the bow or in the quiver on his back.

Character

Green Arrow is a superhero who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Mort Weisinger and designed by George Papp, he first appeared in More Fun Comics #73 in November 1941.

His real name is Oliver Jonas Queen, a wealthy businessman, owner of Queen Industries, and a well-known celebrity in Star City. He uses this position to hide the fact that he is Green Arrow.

Inspired in part by Robin Hood, Green Arrow is an archer who uses his skills to fight crime in his hometowns of Star City and Seattle, as well as alongside his fellow superheroes as a member of the Justice League.
