Stalker (v1) is the original survival expert and Ranger for the G.I. Joe team, released by Hasbro in 1982 as part of Series One. As a core member of the "Original Sixteen" founding figures, this version features the iconic straight-arm construction of the initial production run.
Stalker was the first figure in the line to feature a detailed camouflage pattern on his green fatigues, setting him apart from the solid colors of his teammates. Variations:
Stalker (v1) features a unique distinction in its early runs: the thin thumb version typically features a lighter camouflage pattern compared to the thick thumb variant. Following the line's progression, the 1983 re-release (version v1.5) introduced swivel-arm articulation, a slimmer waist-piece, and an updated "82-83" date stamp on the mold.
