Keel-Haul (v1), a notable G.I. Joe action figure, debuted in 1985 as part of the fourth series, initially exclusive to the U.S.S. Flagg aircraft carrier.
It later resurfaced in 1989 as a mail-order figure within the "Special Missions Drivers" set, which included Ace, Thunder, Lampreys, Strato-Viper, and Motor Viper. Interestingly.
In 1993, residual bagged Keel-Haul figures were distributed through unconventional channels, appearing as "Skeeball" prizes at Chuck E. Cheese locations and carnivals nationwide.

Two primary versions of the Keel-Haul figure exist, distinguished by the presence or absence of a patch on the right arm. The original 1985 edition featured this patch, whereas initial 1989 mail-in versions did not; however, subsequent mail-in releases eventually reintroduced the patch. Figures without the arm patch typically also lack the painted stars on the collar.
Furthermore, early production runs display "Made In Hong Kong" on the waist piece, while later figures indicate "Made In China." Some later mail-in variants also did not include the pistol accessory, impacting the completeness of a collection.
