TRIPWIRE (v2), officially designated as Listen N Fun Tripwire, was released in 1985 within the fourth G.I. Joe series.
This figure was exclusively distributed packaged with the "Listen n Fun" audio tape, "The Cobra's Revenge."
A bagged version of the Listen n Fun Tripwire was also available, speculated to be either pre-production units or surplus stock.
This release did not include a standard filecard; instead, a compact, descriptive panel was integrated onto the front of the packaging.
