Iceberg (v1) was initially released as a carded G.I. Joe action figure within the fifth series in 1986.
In 1991, Iceberg was again offered to collectors via Hasbro Direct mail-order.
The 1991 mail-in version of the Iceberg action figure included a specific accessory deviation: a large tan rifle, which was the same accessory provided with the Rock Viper figure.
