Early production runs of the filecard for this action figure featured a security number listed as 075-09-4876. Subsequent filecard printings adjusted this security number to 075-0948-MP76.
For international distribution, Spearhead & Max were released in the United Kingdom and Europe under Action Force branding.
In Brazil, the figure appeared with distinct color variations, known as Baioneta.
Additionally, Funskool in India repurposed Spearhead's torso, waist, and leg components for their second version of the Street Hawk figure.
