Character:
Black Cat, whose real name is Felicia Hardy, is an anti-heroine and sometime ally of Spider-Man in the Marvel Universe. Created by Marv Wolfman and Dave Cockrum, she made her first appearance in “The Amazing Spider-Man” #194 in 1979.
Felicia is the daughter of a famous thief and, after a traumatic event in her life, she decides to follow in her father’s footsteps, becoming an expert thief with a style inspired by a black cat.
Black Cat is known for her exceptional agility, combat skills and her ability to manipulate the bad luck of her opponents, a power she obtains after undergoing scientific experiments.
Her relationship with Spider-Man is complex, characterized by an intense mutual attraction, but also by the tension between her life of crime and Peter Parker’s heroic ideals. Over the years, Felicia has oscillated between being a thief, a vigilante, and an ally, making her one of the most multifaceted and charming characters in the Spider-Man universe.
