This figure is part of the first wave of the "Spider-Man Animated Series" collection created by toy manufacturer TOYBIZ. This collection recreated the characters from the popular 1990s animated series Spider-Man: The Animated Series.

Carnage, whose real name is Cletus Kasady, is one of the most dangerous and bloodthirsty villains in the Marvel universe, created by David Michelinie and Mark Bagley. He made his debut in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #361 in 1992.
Carnage is the result of the union between an alien symbiote and Cletus Kasady, a psychopathic serial killer. This symbiote is a descendant of Venom, but much more chaotic and lethal, amplifying Kasady's bloodlust.
Carnage possesses a number of abilities similar to Venom's, such as superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to generate weapons with his own body, but he is stronger and more unpredictable due to the nature of the symbiote and Kasady's unbalanced mentality.
Unlike other villains, Carnage does not seek power or wealth; his only goal is to wreak havoc and destruction, making him a threat to both Spider-Man and Venom, who often must join forces to stop him.
