Character

Mysterio, whose real name is Quentin Beck, is one of Spider-Man's most iconic and creative villains, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. He first appeared in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #13 in 1964.

Beck is a master of special effects, illusion, and technology, who worked in Hollywood as a special effects technician and stuntman before turning to crime. Using his vast knowledge of visual tricks, chemistry, and robotics, Beck adopts the identity of Mysterio, a villain who specializes in deceiving his opponents with realistic illusions and elaborate deceptions.

Mysterio has no superpowers, but his abilities to manipulate perception and create elaborate scenarios make him an extremely dangerous adversary for Spider-Man. With his distinctive green suit, purple cape, and glass dome helmet, Mysterio often plays on Spider-Man's insecurities and fears, pushing him to the brink of madness. His illusions, while not always lethal, are designed to confuse and disorient, making battles against him as much psychological as physical.
