This figure is part of the fifth wave of the “Spider-Man Animated Series” collection, created by toymaker TOYBIZ. This collection recreated the characters from the popular 90’s animated series Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
The figures were distributed and sold in several countries, so we will be able to find the “carded” figures with cardboards in different languages.
Nick Fury, whose full name is Nicholas Joseph Fury, is one of the most important characters in the Marvel Universe, known for being the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division). Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Fury made his first appearance in “Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos” #1 in 1963, as a sergeant during World War II.
However, his character later developed as a spy and secret agent in superhero comics. Fury is known for his leadership, strategic skills and espionage expertise, as well as his iconic eye patch.
Under his leadership, S.H.I.E.L.D. becomes the premier defense agency against global threats, both human and extraterrestrial. In the comics and movies, Fury is the architect behind the formation of the Avengers, uniting Earth’s mightiest heroes to confront dangers no hero could handle alone.
