Alistair Smythe is a villain from the Marvel universe, known for being one of Spider-Man's most persistent enemies. Created by Stan Lee and John Romita Sr., he made his first appearance in "The Amazing Spider-Man Annual" #19 in 1985.
Alistair is the son of Spencer Smythe, a scientist obsessed with destroying Spider-Man, who created the deadly robots called Spider-Slayers. After his father's death, Alistair inherits his hatred for Spider-Man and decides to continue his legacy, improving the Spider-Slayers and developing more advanced versions to hunt down the arachnid hero.
