Character

Constrictor, whose real name is Frank Payne, is a villain in the Marvel Comics universe, created by writer Gary Friedrich and artist Dick Ayers. He made his first appearance in "The Invincible Iron Man" #2 in 1968.

Originally, Payne was a professional assassin who, after being captured, underwent surgery to have a series of devices implanted in his suit that allow him to use extendable, lethal cables that he can control remotely, giving him the ability to constrict and attack.

The Constrictor's suit is equipped with a series of cables and mechanical snakes that he can launch and control, using them to immobilize, strike, or strangle his enemies. Throughout his career as a villain, Constrictor has been an adversary of several Marvel heroes, including Iron Man and the Avengers.
