Character

Daredevil, whose real name is Matt Murdock, is a Marvel Comics superhero created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett, with contributions from Jack Kirby. He made his first appearance in "Daredevil" #1 in 1964.

Matt Murdock grew up in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood and lost his sight in an accident as a child when he was hit by a radioactive chemical while saving a man from being run over. This accident not only left him blind, but also heightened his other senses to superhuman levels and gave him a "sensory radar" that allows him to perceive his surroundings in a unique way.

After the death of his father, a boxer killed for refusing to fix a fight, Matt decides to use his abilities to fight crime.

By day, he works as a lawyer defending the underprivileged alongside his friend and partner Foggy Nelson, and by night, he becomes Daredevil, the vigilante who fights corruption and crime in Hell's Kitchen.
