Battle Cat is He-Man's mount and was sold separately in its box and in a pack that included both pieces. Several countries manufactured this figure, and there are slight variations in the color tone of the mount and helmet, but apart from that and the country mark on the mold, there are no notable changes.
This figure was sold separately and in a pack that also included the He-Man figure.
An interesting fact about this piece is that MATTEL reused the same mold it had for a tiger figure from the Big Jim collection and simply painted it green with yellow stripes.
Cringer is a fearful green tiger who is saved by He-Man and becomes his pet and best friend. When He-Man uses the Sword of Power to summon the powers of Grayskull, he can channel those powers and also imbue Cringer with them, thus transforming him into Battle Cat, a fearsome combat tiger mount.
