Faker was released in 1983 as part of the second wave of MOTU figures. This figure was produced in several countries and can be found with different packaging.
The Indian version from LEO Toys is possibly the most sought-after variant in the entire collection, as it included extra accessories that the other versions did not, such as a staff and a cape like the one worn by Skeletor, but in orange.
Faker is a robot created in the image and likeness of He-Man and controlled by Skeletor so that, by impersonating him, he can deceive the Sorceress and thus enter Grayskull Castle.
Depending on the series or comic we read, Faker's origin may vary, but he usually ends up being a puppet in Skeletor's hands.
