This figure is part of the wave known as “Auto-morphin,” which allows the character’s head to be rotated to alternate between his helmetless face and his Power Ranger appearance.
The “Auto-morphin” were very popular in their time and have become some of the most loved and remembered figures by Power Rangers fans. They were also the first figures to feature the faces of the characters as they appeared in the series.
There are two versions of this figure: a reedition known as Series 2 was made, in which the human face of the Yellow Ranger was changed. Series 2 figures are usually more expensive than the first editions, since they were produced in smaller quantities.
These figures can be found in different types of packaging, depending on whether they were distributed in America or Europe. Depending on the edition, the sticker / tattoo included with the figure also varies.
Trini Kwan is the first Yellow Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. She is intelligent, compassionate and always willing to help, in addition to being an expert in martial arts.
