Space Jam, is a film produced by the Warner Bross in 1996, the film blends real-world characters with the cartoon characters of the Looney Tunes, the protagonist of the film was none other than Michael Jordan, maybe the most influential athlete of all time.
The movie is about alien bugs that come to earth to abduct and enslave the characters of the Looney Tunes, They manage to trick them into playing a game of basketball (since the aliens are very short). Once the conditions are accepted, the aliens steal the skills of the best NBA players and thus become monsters that completely dominate the game. But the Looney Tunes succeed in convincing Michael Jordan to play for his team in order to win the game.
The film was a total success around the world, as it brought together the very famous Looney Tunes with the very same Michael Jordan, in 2021, a sequel was launched, this time with Lebron James the one called to dethrone the position of Jordan as the greatest basketball player of all time.
Taking advantage of the assured success of the movie, several toy lines were launched on the market.
