Curiosities and variants of the figure

4-LOM: In 1982 KENNER launched the fifth wave of figures of its Star Wars collection, this wave contains figures based on the characters of the movie “The Empire Strikes Back”.

This figure was reedited several times and released in different countries or with different promotions, so we will be able to find it with different cardbacks, although the figure is the same in all its versions.

Initially this figure was given away with a buy 5 get one free promotion, where customers sent in proof of purchase and received the figure in the mail. The figure later went on sale in cardboard and blister packaging like the rest of the collection.

There is a great controversy with this figure and Zuckuss, since at first it seems that KENNER made a mistake and exchanged their names, something that would be corrected years later in future lines of figures, but within the vintage collection they are known by their opposite names, that is to say that this figure is really the one of the character Zuckuss and vice versa.

Character

4-LOM is a droid bounty hunter in Star Wars. He appears in “The Empire Strikes Back” as one of the mercenaries brought together by Darth Vader to find Han Solo and Princess Leia. 4-LOM is known for its cybernetic nature and specialization in bounty hunting.
